Responsible for this concept from start to finish. Icons is a Columbia seasonal capsule collection. This season’s collection was inspired by the river that gave Columbia its name and is rooted in its Pacific Northwest heritage. My vision was to juxtapose muted/vintage postcard Columbia River Gorge scenery with bright, laid-back, contemporary street style. The heritage and innovative elements combine to create a bold, colorful, screen-popping story.
One of the fleeces in the collection features of view of the Gorge with Vista House in the at Crown Point in the middle ground, so I thought it was fitting to have our photo & video shoot in the Gorge and at the Vista House to bring it to life.
Being in charge of the creative brief for this project meant I chose the talent, location, what outfits they wore, the angles the photographers & videographers shot, the car they drove, the music that was included in the videos, and even the behind-the-scenes footage concept for TikTok.
I directed video editors for the four videos that were used on social as well as a photo editor for this project. I was responsible for building out the key visuals and developing the toolkit, and I carried it through to all website and email placements.
