Email design at Columbia meant showing up differently for every campaign — and finding ways to have fun within the brand every single time. Across product launches, seasonal moments, promotions, and lifestyle storytelling, I designed emails that stayed true to Columbia's visual identity while pushing the creative as far as the brief would allow.
That meant experimenting with layout, playing with bold color and typography, and bringing an elevated sense of craft to a format that can easily become formulaic. The goal was always to make each email feel intentional and fresh — not just another send, but a piece of creative worth opening.
Working across such a wide range of campaigns required fluency in the full Columbia toolkit: knowing when to lean into heritage and restraint, and when to dial up energy and personality. The variety kept the work dynamic, and the challenge of staying on-brand while still surprising the audience is what made it rewarding.
